As the CEO of Asset Financial Planners, Dan Hancock, AAMS®, CRPC®, is the architect of the firm’s proprietary Tax-First Financial Planning system. With 13 years of experience in the financial industry, Dan is a dedicated fiduciary wealth advisor, legally and ethically committed to acting solely in the best interest of every client.

Dan’s system is specifically designed for high net worth and high income households seeking to minimize tax exposure and maximize long-term wealth accumulation. His expertise focuses on integrated planning that combines advanced strategies in investment, insurance, and tax management.

Dan’s commitment to education and excellence is demonstrated by his professional designations: Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) and Chartered Retirement Planning Councilor (CRPC®). He leads a team that collectively manages $100 million in client assets and offers seamless tax and wealth integration through its partnership with Ascent Accounting.

A longtime resident of Cheyenne, Dan lives with his wife and son. Away from the office, he embraces the local outdoor lifestyle, enjoying fishing, hunting, and golf, and is a dedicated hockey fan.

Pablo worked in Finance since 2009 with various positions in banking and personal finance. Pablo graduated with a BA degree in liberal arts and has a BS in Finance and real estate from Colorado State University in 2010.

Pablo’s other specialty is helping small business owners, and loves helping with insurance continuity planning. He has always believed that the small business owner is the backbone of today’s economy. As a small business owner, Pablo understands the mindset and sacrifice it takes to be successful.

Pablo lives with his wife Jackie, and daughter Kiera in Norther Colorado where he loves spending his free time working in the yard, and spending time with close friends.

Thomas Owings, CFP® is a dedicated managing partner and insurance specialist whose passion for comprehensive planning began in elementary school while growing up in Fort Worth, Texas. A proud alumnus of Texas Tech University, where he earned his Finance degree, Thomas has committed his career to easing the financial stress and unknowns for his clients.

Drawing from his extensive experience in the securities business, including previously holding the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, Tom brings a highly disciplined and holistic perspective to his current practice. He expertly utilizes this foundational knowledge as a previously licensed financial advisor to guide clients through complex insurance planning, ensuring their families and assets are fully protected.

With the heart of a teacher, Thomas is determined to spend the time needed educating his clients, helping to ensure they are empowered to make the most informed financial decisions possible.

Thomas and his wife, Syble, live in the Fort Worth area where they are raising their three boys: Tommy, Jacob, and Charlie. When away from the office, he enjoys traveling, watching sports, and spending time outdoors with his family.
